I've not written in two weeks.
I'll try to do better. It's been pretty busy at work though. Everybody on the hill has a lot to do right now. We were supposed to recess until next year when we start a new session, but with the "Emergency Economic Stimulus Plan" in Congress nobody can leave because the President wants something passed so pretty much nobody leaves until that happens. It's not bad though. I rather like work, but I don't want to do it forever. I think I will like working as an engineer. Hopefully, we'll know for sure after next semester.
I e-mailed Richard Harrell with the MDEQ solid waste and mining permitting branch with my resume last week and he e-mailed me back this morning saying he would like to talk to me about CO-OPing and interning and that he would be at State October 16th and would like to meet with me individually. I had to e-mail him back since I am in DC until December and he said he would call me later on in the week. I would really love this opportunity since it means that I would be doing something I am very interested in. Even though it means I would be living in Jackson and not Starkville.
I have been going to the gym for 1.5 to 2+ hours every day. Hopefully when I come home, the people close to me will notice. Maybe. I'm working very hard for it to happen.
